A survey of 2438 dementia-free elderly participants underwent neuropsychological testing as part of the NEDICES study. The study adjusted for age and education. The study found that patients with Parkinson's and essential tremor had poorer cognition than controls. This is why it is very important to do everything possible to improve brain health. That means exercising (to stimulate neuron growth), eating brain-healthy foods that include healthy fats and several servings of fruits and vegetables, avoiding environmental toxins, reducing stress, and getting a good night's sleep. Taking brain-healthy supplements is also very important. If you have essential tremor, my book Natural Remedies for Essential Tremor is packed with information to keep your brain healthy and to reduce tremors. Even if you have another tremor condition or memory problems or have a relative that does, my book will still be tremendously helpful. To purchase the book, click on the Essential Tremor link at the top to purchase the book. There is also a list of supplements that are very helpful for ET symptoms and brain health.

In health always,
